The most expensive DJ is NOT necessarily the best DJ. However the cheapest DJ is always the worst! In N.E. Ohio the average price range for a DJ is $700.00 up to $1,400.00 for a 4 hr. reception. Overtime can range between $50.00 & $100.00 per hour. Keeping this in mind if you talk to a DJ who quotes $475.00 you may want to ask yourself "I wonder if this DJ is going to provide a quality service for such a low price?"

It’s important to understand you will get what you pay for. So be very careful when choosing your entertainment, you may like the price but be shocked at what you get.
